"Were we born to drive?" Marco Mazzocco's book

Did you know: Compared to a vehicle, our brain processes data at a speed of around 8km / h, even when we are driving at 130km / h?

That of "driving" is one of the most complex activities to manage for the human being, due to the infinite number of micro-actions to be performed in sequence, to get to the result. Many of these actions, in fact, by becoming “automatic”, are not perceived as difficult, because they occur without going through conscious reasoning, and this alters the overall perception of those behind the wheel.

Understanding the complex mechanisms of the human mind while driving, understanding what happens when a stimulus arrives to the brain, how long it takes to process it and what mental traps we can fall into, are some of the themes that the book "Were We Born to Drive?" face up.

Also making use of the contribution of important figures in the sector such as Leonardo Milani, psychologist and mental trainer of the Italian Acrobatic Team, Frecce Tricolori, and Fabio Tosolin, president of AARBA (Association for the Advancement of Radical Behavior Analysis) and of AIAMC (Italian Association of Analysis and Modification of Behavior), the author Marco Mazzocco, with concrete and practical language, leads us to reflect on the mistakes we make every day while driving.

“We were born to drive” was born with the noble purpose of offering us some more tools and notions to become more aware drivers and try to save new lives on the road.
